  1. Why did some of my channels disappear from the guide?

There are several guides available with Enventis Digital TV to assist you in finding your programming faster. When you hit the guide button multiple times, you are actually scrolling through the different guide displays. Your guide options are: Subscribed, All, SD, HD, and Pay Per View (PPV). The first thing to check if you are missing channels is to go to the subscribed guide. This option shows all channels that you are currently subscribed to. Return to Top

  1. Can I change the way my guide looks?

Yes! You have three options for your guide. Simply follow these steps to change your look:

    • Press Menu on your remote.
    • Use your Arrow Keys to scroll to the Settings icon.
    • Enter your password.
    • Preference under Settings will be highlighted. Navigate to the bar space across from Theme and press OK on the remote.
    • The Theme box will show right and left arrows. Use your arrow keys to change the background choice.
    • Scroll down to Submit and hit OK.
    • A message will appear that your settings were successfully updated. Press OK.
    • Another message will state that the resource change had been detected which requires a reboot. Press OK.
    • Your television will go through the transition. Your TV screen will be black with an active daisy wheel indicating changes are occurring. It will take several minutes before your television comes back up. Return to Top

  1. I just turned on my TV, and the screen is black, how do I get the picture back?

The first thing you will want to check is to make sure you are on the correct input for your TV. Your Enventis box was connected to an input on your TV when your installation was completed. If the input gets changed your channels will not display on your TV. Return to Top

      1. I have a message on my screen that says I have exceeded my bandwidth. How do I correct this, and what does it mean?

Enventis Digital TV has the capability to allow you to view HD programming on different TV’s in your home, but not all at the same time. If you are attempting to tune to (or record) too many HD channels your TV will revert to a black screen with a message to tune to an SD channel so you can resume your programming. A TV that is tuned to an HD channel, but not being watched will still consume the bandwidth, so by simply tuning an unwatched TV to an SD channel may also correct this issue. Return to Top
