In 2011, HickoryTech's giving equaled approximately $980 for every employee.

United Way
One of the biggest beneficiaries of the company's corporate philanthropy is the United Way. In 2011, employees and the Company donated $110,000 to the United Way.
Salvation Army
Employees have volunteered to ring bells at red kettles across the company's service area during the Salvation Army's Red Kettle Campaign. The Company also designates a day to match the money collected in one of the kettles.
Legacy of Hope Golf Tournament
HickoryTech and its Enventis subsidiary sponsor the Legacy of Hope Pro/Am Golf Classic in Duluth, Minn. The event raises money for Essentia Health’s TeleHealth program, benefiting patients living in rural areas by connecting them with physicians in 55 different specialties.
