Project Management

Enventis’ project management teams will work closely with our customer’s IT and telecommunications professionals—in conjunction with Cisco Systems— to integrate solutions into customer’s production environments.

Enventis Project Management includes providing the following services:
  • Development and management of a project plan
  • Conducting appropriate status meetings
  • Tracking changes to project scope
  • Reporting status on projects
  • Manage the Planning, Design and Implementation (PDI) process
Enventis Planning, Design and Implementation Process Enventis project management services have 3 phases (Planning, Design and Implementation). Each of the PDI phases plays an integral part in the successful deployment of a Cisco Unified Communications solution. Each phase is strategically designed to build upon the previous phase in order to provide customers with a solution that meets their current and future goals and requirements. The intent of the planning phase is threefold.
  1. To document and understand the existing voice and data network
  2. To collect existing voice and data network information from the customer to determine requirements and highlight any performance issue
  3. To understand the customer requirements and expectations for the new solution
The design phase uses the information gathered during the planning phase to craft a solution that meets the customer’s current and future needs. The output or deliverable from the design phase will not only define the solution to be implemented, but also articulate how the solution will be deployed through sections such as the deployment plan and the migration strategy. The implementation phase includes the deployment and configuration of the solution according to the plans and strategies crafted during the design phase. These plans and strategies include, but are not limited to, the deployment, migration, training, and support strategies.
