Enventis has implemented MPLS technology across our entire statewide network. Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS) can improve network speed by setting up an exact path for a specified packet sequence thereby reducing the time it would take a router to look up the delivery address. MPLS is offered at multiple speeds and classes of service.
There are five classes of service available to segregate traffic and control application performance:
